Breaking Glass

Buying The Glass:

I bought three wine glasses from Wilko which were priced at 50p each therefore I spent £1.50 on purchases three glasses. I chose to buy three so I could drop the glass in three different ways.
After buying the glass I then removed the sticker from the bottom of the glass. In order to do this I used a wet cloth.

Adding The Glass To Frame:

Drop 1:

For my first attempt I chose to drop the glass up right. Because the steam was weaker it meant the glass shattered very well and as a result in this it created lots of shards of glass.
This was the best footage which I received.

Drop 2:

This time I chose to drop the class top down. This would result in the top of the glass smashing into lots of shards.

Drop 3:

This time we smashed the glass on a side but this did not work very well. This is because the stem of the glass broke instead of the whole glass. This meant the glass split into two parts.

Slitting Into Two Parts:

These images show what was left after I had smashed all three glasses.

These are the safety glasses which I wore when smashing the glass to prevent any shards going into to eyes.
